AK-57....Asphalt Assault Weapon
Just over a year ago I started working with Gordie Abougoush on his '57 Chevy. One sunny afternoon we stood behind his shop and looked at a pale blue relic with not one straight panel on it and Gord conveyed his ideas to me as to how it would look. This was the project that I took on to draw live at his 2004 show and since then we have created a name, logo and many other ideas while the car has been quietly coming to life. Here it is as it nears completion sporting supercharged C5 Corvette power with a 6 speed and Corvette independent suspension. Stay tuned to see this one finished soon!
